Our popular Bush trail exploring hidden corners of this vast wilderness and discovering the Miracle of iSimangaliso* for yourself. With time to appreciate the vast variety of flora and fauna that form this UNESCO World Heritage site at a leisurely place where time has no meaning and the rhythms of nature take over. Three nights are spent in the Lakeside Camp which is a springboard for your adventure in the wild heart of what guests have described as the Okavango in Zululand.
The variety of animal tracks are astounding but hardly surprising, given the population of 4 of the Big 5 where the absent lion is more than compensated for by the hippos and crocodiles that are regularly seen. The wildlife, completely unhabituated to humans after our absence of over 70 years, stare in surprise before bounding away across the expanse of grass. Here you will experience a reconnection of your Spirit with the quiet beauty of an untouched Wilderness that our forebears called Home.

Note: This trail can be extended to a four night trail and guests have the option to experience a sleepout away from the camp under mosquito nets for one night (subject to all guests participating).
